Every camera and lighting situation behaves differently. For best results, balance exposure and white balance before applying the LUT. The LUT is designed to enhance already balanced footage — not replace proper exposure.

Yes — especially footage that has already been normalized to Rec.709. While optimized for Sony S-Log3, DJI D-Log M, and Rec.709 workflows, the LUTs can still work beautifully on many other camera systems.
